The preparation of the guest room and other areas of the hotel so that the guest is as comfortable as possible is the housekeeping staff’s primary responsibility. The housekeeping team fills the guest rooms and guest bathrooms with certain essentials as a result. The theory behind it is that a guest does not need to pack and carry every single item they will need while traveling.The lists of these items are subject to change depending on the hotel’s policies and the quality of the room. While preparing the room for guest check-in, the housekeeping staff must make sure that those supplies are maintained in the proper quantities and condition.
Concierge Services
Villa staff consist of a full-time chef or cook, butler, housekeeper, and personal laundress who attend exclusively to each villa. The villas require an advanced provisioning allowance (APA) for groceries and provisioning. The recommended guidelines for setting a grocery budget are approximately $45 per day per adult and $20 per day for preteens and children.
